Alex Schoep, Chairman

Alex Schoep was one of the co-founders of Schoep & Van der Toorn ’ Communication Consultants in Amsterdam and Chairman of Schoep & Van der Toorn / Brodeur Worldwide in the Netherlands, where he oversaw a staff of 80 marketing and communication professionals. In addition to his responsibilities in Amsterdam, Alex Schoep was also President of Brodeur Worldwide in EMEA and a board member of the global Brodeur Worldwide Board. In 2004, he became President of Pleon, and Chairman in April 2006.

He has 20 years of experience in marketing and communication. Coming from a corporate communications background, he gained special expertise in issue management and change management strategies. Furthermore, he consults with clients on positioning and branding issues.

Prior to founding Schoep & Van der Toorn, Alex studied Political and Social Science at the Amsterdam University and was a spokesperson for one of the leading Dutch political parties.
