Saskia Wallner, Director European Partner Relations Born in 1968, Saskia Wallner studied Law at the University of Vienna and the Université Paris II. After her graduation in 1991 she worked as referee at the Austrian Constitutional Court and did her Diploma of High Advanced International Studies at the Bologna Center of the Johns Hopkins University. Her subsequent internship at the General Secretariat of the European Union in Brussels was followed by a PhD in European Law at the University of Vienna and the Istituto Europeo in Fiesole, Italy. Professionaly, she switched to Marketing and Sales in the Austrian Postal Banks Group and developed into Institutional Sales of Investment Funds. In 1998 she started as an account executive at Publico Public Relations, became senior consultant in 2000 and equity partner in 2002. Today, she is member of the Management Board at Pleon Publico and Director European Partner Relations in the Pleon Europe Board.
Saskia Wallner is an expert in corporate communications, change and crisis communications in a wide range of industries from retail to financial services. She is responsible for strategic communications consulting and support of high profile companies such as McDonald´s, Erste Bank, Wolf Theiss Attorneys at Law or PricewaterhouseCoopers. In addition, Saskia is a lecturer on PR and communications at MARS, Austria´s Nr. 1 University for Applied Sciences in Marketing and Sales.
